275 Million High speed Broadband Users in India By 2015
According to a report by ASSOCHAM, the High-speed broadband subscriber base in India is likely to grow up to 275 million from current 9 million by the next five years (2015), as telecom firms will roll out Broadband Wireless Acess (BWA) air waves that were auctioned in June.

BWA spectrum enables high-speed Internet access as well as Internet telephony and TV services. It can also be used for voice and high-speed data services.
According to the Report The current low level broadband penetration (nine million) is due to factors such as insufficient wire line infrastructure, fragmented local cable operators network and usage rates, and delays in awarding spectrum.

It’s achievable when this service is spreads all the rural areas of India,but 300% growth looks diffucult.
