Uninor launches Indias best GSM mobile tariff in Karnataka

Uninor’s new concept of Dynamic Pricing will now deliver India’s best mobile tariffs with upto 60% discounts on a per second billing also. This discount is not just applicable on local but STD calls too for calls made to any operator. The earlier Dynamic Pricing plan with per-minute billing will continue to be available in the market. With Uninor’s Dynamic Pricing plan now, a customer could enjoy an effective tariff as low as 0.40 paisa per second simply by crossing a street.
This plan is available on a recharge tariff of Rs. 26 with a validity of 3 months. The plan will be available at 11 exclusive Uninor stores and over 29000 other shops across Karnataka. It can be activated by simply walking up to the nearest a retail shop.
Tata DoCoMo Punjab per sec tariff International calls to USA Canada

Tata DOCOMO, The GSM brand of Tata Teleservices (TTSL) has launched “ISD Packs” in Punjab. The new offer will allow its prepaid subscribers to pay any call made to the US and Canada at only one paisa per second. For this prepaid subscribers have to choose either a pack of Rs 59 with validity of 30 days or Rs 205 pack with a talk time of Rs 145 along with validity of 30 days.

Samsung has launched “Champ C3300” its cheapest touchscreen handset in Indian market. The Champ is not only cheap it’s also one of Samsung’s smallest touchscreen handsets, measuring 96 x 53.8 x 13 mm and featuring a 2.4 inch QVGA display with Memory support of upto 8GB. Champ C3300 is now available in Indian Market at Rs. 4,100 ( ~ 88$ )
The C3300 Champ Boasts a 2.4 inch QVGA screen, basic 1.3 MP camera, Various connectivity options like GPRS/EDGE ( No 3G) Bluetooth and USB. For Music it carries a 3.5 mm headset jack with resistive touch screen and FM radio. Like all Samsung feature phones, Champ also comes with a load of social networking tools & applications. A good news from all “Nokia N8″ lovers that finally N8 is ready for pre-order in UK with both T-Mobile and Vodafone. Still exact release date are yet to be disclosed but hopefully it will be somewhere in last of August.

Vodafone VF247 Solar Power Mobile Phone launched India

Vodafone Essar Ltd. has launched “VF 247” a solar-powered mobile phone In India targeting India’s rural masses who lack electricity. This mobile is priced at 1,500 rupees ($32), should be available in stores next month. Samsung, who launched a similar solar-powered handset about a year ago failed to gain popularity for Such handsets and now it Vodafone Turn.
The VF 247 needs eight hours of direct sunlight to be fully charged and can support 200 standby hours and 240 minutes of talk time. It also comes with an electronic charger, an FM radio and a powerful torch light. More >
