BSNL 3G network may expand in Chhattisgarh

BSNL, state owned telecom operator has decided to settle 3G network across Chhattisgarh district by October 15. At present, the service is available in the urban areas but now they plans to expansion of their 3G network in rural areas also. Earlier, five districts, namely Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Kabeerdham, Mahasamund and Dhamtari had the 3G network. The company recently launched the service in Baikunthpur and Ambikapur.
“We have planned to launch the 3G service in all the 18 districts of Chhattisgarh by October 15 and the preparation for the same has started,” said, chief general manager of BSNL (Chhattisgarh circle) Ram Yagna. (more…)
