This Roadie hunt is now open on www.mobileroadiehunt.com for aspiring and avid gamers amongst over 84 million Idea subscribers, to participate in this extraordinary talent hunt. The online engagement program is bigger, better and different in its 3rd season!
Popular VJ’s and brothers Raghu and Rajeev are the show anchors who will interrogate the users through their Facebook friends, in their own inimitable Roadies lingo. The duo will check out ‘the social status’ of Roadie aspirants and give their expert analysis on the contestant’s friends on the network.

Idea Cellular ready to Launch 3G Services Next Month

Idea Cellular, the pan India telecom operator is now ready to launch its 3G services in India. The Aditya Birla group company may launch 3G services by next month across the country . The company has won 3G spectrum in 11 circles for approximately Rs 5,768 crore. Tata Docomo, Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel are the major private operators who already launched their 3G services in India.
Rajat Mukarji, chief corporate affairs officer, Idea Cellular said “We are looking at launching 3G services next month. We are still working out on details.”
Most of the 3G users are disappointed by high 3G tariff plans of existing 3G operators and now there will be a hope on Idea cellular for better and cheaper 3G plans.
Idea cellular starts Switch to Idea campaign for MNP

IDEA Cellular, the pan-India mobile operator, has affirmed that it is ready to enable Mobile Number Portability (MNP) on its network. With the roll out of its‘ Switch to Idea’ campaign, Idea has taken the lead to make mobile consumers aware of the upcoming mobile portability service, through its latest campaign.
According to Mr. Rajat Mukarji, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, IDEA Cellular, “Idea is ready to enable Mobile Number Portability on its network. We have made substantial investment in network, technology, processes etc. to allow mobile subscribers to switch network and move to Idea, post MNP. Idea has taken the lead in spreading awareness about MNP, amongst mobile consumers across the country”. (more…)
Idea Cellular Break the language barrier now for Indian Railways

In line with the ongoing theme campaign, ‘Break the Language Barrier’, offering a simple solution to millions of Indians to communicate with people talking different languages in their own, Idea Cellular announces association with Indian Railways, to promote ‘Break the Language Barrier’ campaign and Idea Language Helpline to help its passengers traveling to other parts of the country.
As part of this program, the Idea Language Helpline is being promoted across Indian Railways network for a week. Idea Language Helpline jingle will play on the IVR of Railway’s inquiry no. 139, for a period of 7 days starting 29th October. The caller will hear one jingle of 10 seconds when call connects with IVR, followed by a jingle of 15 seconds when call is transferred to a human Interface. In the South circles, the jingle will be in English and in rest of India it will be in Hindi. (more…)
