Bharti Airtel committed for affordable telecom services Tanzania

Bharti Airtel, which Recently become World’s No 5 Mobile Company by acquiring the African Telecoms asset “Kuwait’s Zain” has committed itself to bring Cheaper, Competitive phone services and to contribute in the growth of telecommunications sector in Tanzania. Tanzania is An east African Country Situated along the Indian Ocean with a population of 39.5 million and is home to Africa’s highest peak Mount Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar Island, Serengeti National Park and Lake Victoria.

Nexus One will no more be available in markets as Google has ended retailing its smartphone model, Admitting that its Nexus One has not succeeded in the market, Google said in its website “Sorry, folks…The Nexus One is no longer available for purchase directly from Google,” . If you visit the page set up for the handset you will find a bland grey box bearing the unfortunate news.

China plans to invest USD 18 billion 3G services in 2010

China, World’s Biggest Telecom Market now plans to invest about USD 18 billion in 3G data services in 2010 as the country became the home to the largest telephone network in the world, with total number of phone users crossing 1.1 billion, including 800 million mobile users. The 3G services allow for video calls between 3G subscribers, and television and Internet access. It would allow users to make telephone calls, surf the Internet and watch television through a singe cable or wireless entrance.
China’s third-generation (3G) mobile phone service subscribers went up by 40 per cent, totaling 25.2 million subscribers at the end of June, Zhang Feng, an official with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) said today. More >
Samsung and Sprint introduces Android powered Epic 4G

Samsung along with Sprint joins the race to the next level of mobile communication by Introducing its Android powered Samsung Epic 4G . Samsung Epic would be the second smartphone (after HTC Evo 4G) to be equipped with mobile WiMAX connectivity but differentiated by having a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Samsung Epic 4G would be version of the Samsung’s latest hit, the Galaxy S. The specification of the two are very similar except for the slide-out QWERTY and WiMAX connectivity options on the Epic 4G.

Mobile Service, Internet and LiveTV soon in flights

Cathay Pacific, A leading international airline of Hong Kong, has announced its plans to fit entire fleet with Internet broadband service, mobile telephone network and Live televisions. Now those days are not far when broadband internet access, mobile phone service and even liveTV on flights would be a reality. However it won’t be a free service, The airline will announce the prices at the time of roll out.
The airline has entered in a deal with Panasonic Avionics, a broadband system that will have speeds of up to 50 megabytes on its aircrafts by early 2012. Flights will also have a service for mobile phones. The system will be accessible through all passenger devices and seat-back screens and will include a range of content updated during the flight, plus live television with a pay-per-view capability for special events. Apple to release updated iOS 4.01 to Fix iPhone Antenna Issue
