Few hours back we heard that, Samsung is launching its new model, Samsung Cooper in India. Now, we have a news that, Samsung is announcing Star II a.k.a S5260 mobile phone. The Samsung Star 3G was launched two years back and now it looks like Samsung Star II, is the successor of Samsung Star I.
Samsung Star II comes with features like 3-inch Capacitive touchscreen display, 3.15 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and memory expandable up to 16 GB. Other features include SNS integration and Facebook and Twitter application pre installed. The phone also supports Facebook chat, Yahoo Messenger, Gtalk and AIM. Samsung Bada OS v2.0 Revealed

Recently in Seoul, South Korea, at Samsung Developer day, Samsung has revealed some of the new features of the upcoming Samsung’s next version operating system Bada v2.0. Bada OS was first launched with Samsung’s Wave model with v1.0.
The Bada v2.0 will get more friendly user interface and home screen will be improved with new animation effects, personalization options and layout management. It has multitasking features like multi application execution and background launch and the security features in Bada v2.0 will be improved with DRM and Secure I/O.
The OS will be open-sourced just like Google’s Android OS and have SDK support for Linux and Mac, and user will be able to customize their handset. (more…)

Samsung has launched its new handset Samsung Wave II S8530.This handset features a 3.7-inch S-LCD display, Bada OS 1.2 with Touch Wiz 3, 5MegaPixel camera, 1GHz ARM cortex processor and Samsung Dolphin Browser 2.0 with Flash Support.
There are other features like HD video recording ,comes with a internal memory of 2GB which can be expandable up to 32 GB using a micro SD card, it has miscellaneous features like Music recognition, Document viewer, Image editor, Voice memo, Scratch-resistant oleophobic surface, accelerometer sensor, Multi touch input method , Proximity sensor, Handwriting recognition.

Samsung Claims Top Spot in USA Android Smartphone Market

Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), has announced that according to finding of Gartner, a third party research firm, it has achieved top spot as the number one Android smartphone provider in the US in Q3 2010. According to Gartner, Samsung Mobile captured 32.1 percent of the U.S. Android smartphone market in third Quarter of 2010 based on retail sales, an increase from 9.2 percent of the Android smartphone market in Q4 2009.

Samsung Galaxy 3 Getting Android 2.2 update in November

It seems that Samsung is working hard to cover huge portion of Android market share. Recently Samsung has introduced its 10-inch android powered tablet which created a huge big-bang in the Android market. Now according to the latest news Samsung is starting the update process for Samsung Galaxy 3 also know as Galaxy Apollo after the Galaxy S upgrading process is been completed.
Samsung UK was found replying to its follower on Twitter about this update process. Upgrade process for Samsung Galaxy S I5801 to Android 2.2 Froyo will be completed in this month itself. Samsung Apollo Smartphone is currently running on Android 2.1 (Éclair) version with Touch wiz on the top.
