Telecom Regularity Authority of India ( TRAI ) has issued a Comparative performance of Quarter Ending March 2010 for all Telecom service providers operating in Delhi region. This comparison is released in public interest to depict the actual Quality of Service ( QoS ) of all Telecom players of Delhi service area.

To confer this report TRAI has Analysed all 9 Telecom operators on the basis of different parameters like BTS Downtime, Call Drops, Voice Quality and Resolutions by Customer care executives. This report reveals the Poor Customer service of Tata Indicom where as MTS surprisingly swings up with Least call Drops.

For Basic Telephone Service ( Land-Line ) TRAI Considered Parameters like Occurrence of Faults in Telephone line, Percentage of Reparing with Average time taken to overhaul the problem and Usefulness of Customer care. In this Report  MTNL along With Tata Tele disappoints everyone with its poorest Service among all operators.

Review on Uninor GSM Service in MaharashtraHere is the Second Telecom Review on  TTN ( Thetelecomnews.com ) about “Uninor”, The GSM service provider who rewarded as “Most promising Telecom operator”:  When Uninor launched its 24*7 changing discount plan, i found it unique and  Exciting so i immediately bought a new sim in 50 Rs. and got only 10 Rs. initial talktime, which was very less as compared to other telecom operator’s talktime on new SIM.

Anyways the next thing which to stuck me was the time in which my sim got activated. I bought it at around 6pm from a local shop and it got activated completely at 7pm as i was even able to send messages and make outgoing calls too. I confirmed i this from the shop and got to know that “my verification docs were still with him” and he hadn’t submit them in uninor office but my sim was activated!! This thing convinced me that even after TRAI’s (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) orders regarding sim verification uninor had failed to develop a proper system.
Inspite of all this uninor has largely impressed me because Its call quality is very clear its perhaps the best i have ever used.
it feels like you are talking face to face with the concerned person, also its always changing  rate plan is also good i have got upto 50percent discount in day time when i was in a nearby village and upto 35percent in city, mostly after 12 am i gets 60 percent discount irrespecitive where i am . Base sms plan of 25 paisa per sms is also good as delivery of sms is quite fast . Review on Videocon GPRS and GSM Services in Haryana I am using Airtel from last 9 years and just 3 days ago i bought a Videocon gsm sim as i was in need of some speedy GPRS Provider because AIRTEL Mobile Office is now giving data speed of Stone age. I dont know why but soothing Green color of Videocon and wonderful logo attracted me!!

I got a new sim in 50 Rs. with 125 Rs, Talktime ( that’s what every Operator is doing to capture the Initial market). I thought that i would be able to Activate GPRS from my talktime (125 Rs ) but unfortunately Videocon DOESNT SUPPORT any SMS based activation service at the moment so the only option was to make an echarge of 96 Rs. Recharge Dealer told me that from last 2 months his Videocon talktime is intact and i am his 3rd customer in whole 2 months to make Videcon Recharge ( that was one of the busiest mobile outlet of my city.

I called to customer care to know about the GPRS settings and a lady was on the call. She was speaking in a manner what we used to talk normally with our friends? No Professionalism at all, I bet either she didn’t undergone any traning or Videcon has hired “Cheap Unknowledgeable executives“. I asked for settings and got the reply “Sir call mat katna ap me abi settings bhej detti hu”Sir message aya apke pas?” , “ab aya?” “abi btati hu”, Then she whispered something with her colleague and told me “ap call katenge ge to setting ajayegi”.  i was laughing on her professional way as Customer care executive and was laughing on “HEIGHT OF PROFESSIONALISM in NEW TELECOM OPERATORS OF INDIA” .
