Airtel, India’s No. 1 Telecom operator who dominated Indian Telecom Industry with Exorbitant call charges, gprs charges and many more is now providing the 2GB free Data usage for 30 days in just 98 Rs !! I just loved … I was facing same issue when i was using samsung wave 533… but then I switched to samsung galaxy 3 … an andriod phone … surprisingly it is giving me fabulous speed …. I use youtube and videos play with any buffering wait… sites open fast now.

browsing speed 40-50 kbps downloading speed 2-5 kbps
night after 1.00am browsing speed 70-90 kbps downloading speed 6-7 kbps
not stable

at jalpaiguri , west bengal ,
airtel 98 gives noice speed around 70-80kbps(9-10 KBps) surfing and downloading ..
it was poor but now it is quite good .
can u please tell when AIRTEL 3G will be launched in jalpaiguri (alipurduar) …..

Airtel after launching 3G services has reduced speed of 2G gprs to 3-5 kbps so its best to leave Airtel and have a Reliance connection if you want good data speed of 30-40 kbps whole day I personally use both Airtel and reliance but lately I am using Rs 99 reliance gprs pack and remember not to select 3G or dual mode keep it 2G mode only

in the recharge of Rs.98 for 2GB airtel can’t give more speed. We want an average speed of 50K/ps. Please take some more money but give this speed to people. I am from jamalpur(bihar)

I have used Airtel Gprs from the time it was launched earlier it was Rs 5 per day then after that kept on changing. At last the came up with Rs 98 plan the speed was good with 15-30 Kbps depending on network signal and day night time. But after 3G launch in Mumbai the speed is down to 3-5Kbps Horrible cant even check mails
May be its their way of telling Customers to move to 3G data plans
