IDEA Cellular introduces Unlimited GPRS plans in Mumbai
IDEA Cellular, a leading GSM mobile services operator in India with over 62 million subscribers has introduced unlimited internet plan for mobile subscribers in Mumbai. Now mobile subscribers can surf the internet, chat, connect with friends and relatives on social networking sites, email etc. for just Rs. 98 with 30 days validity. IDEA cellular has Over 1.5 million subscriber base in Mumbai.
Mr. Sashi Shankar, Chief Operating Officer – Mumbai, IDEA Cellular said, “Large number of mobile users are now accessing data services on their phones. IDEA has taken the lead to address this growing demand by introducing consumer friendly and flexible tariff plans which will give a new dimension to mobile experience for users in Mumbai. IDEA’s new unlimited GPRS plan will help the large youth community and small entrepreneurs – who are heavy users of mobile internet, or wish to access GPRS services on their handsets – to choose plans as per their usage”.
IDEA also introduced daily internet surfing plan for Rs. 8 per day.In this plan, user can surf internet for up to 70 MB download. After 70 MB of download users have to pay Rs. 5 per MB. The daily plan would remain active, until deactivated by the user.

in kerala circle also this plan is available. . But iam now using airtel connection. But i will change my connection to idea when the 3g is available in idea. In kerala circle airtel, vodafone. . Etc. . Got no 3g spectrum. .

Kindly help me 2 clear my doubts about this 97 gprs plan, i start using this plan 2 days back & browse some social sites. When i saw my acc balance, i was charged for browsing & and downloading light stuff not exceed than even 40 mb. Instead of in 97 gprs pack comp offers 100mb free download per day. Instead of AIRTEL gives unlimited dowload on his gprs plans.

i m using airtel 98 gprs that gives 2gb of data permonth
but now days its speed is very very slow so i want to change my connection to idea
is idea GPRS speed is good ???
