Airtel 3G launches in NCR – Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida

Bharti airtel, India’s leading telecom company today launched its 3G mobile services in the National Capital Region spanning Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida. The launch of 3G services in NCR is backed by a robust network powered by 1800 plus 3G sites, which is so far, the strongest 3G network in the region by any mobile operator and will ensure a seamless 3G experience for 76 Lakh airtel mobile customers in the region.
Airtel also announced that it has achieved the milestone figure of around Half a Million 3G customers across the country – having launched a little over a month ago. Airtel’s Third Generation services are already in the 7 cities of Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mysore, Manipal, Udipi and Jaipur and will be available in all 13 3G-license circles by end of March 2011. Customers can choose from airtel’s easy-to-understand 3G tariff plans, which have been crafted to prevent ‘bill shock’ and help customers monitor their consumption of data with personalised data usage limits and alerts. Airtel 3G services comes to Rajasthan

Bharti airtel, India’s leading telecommunications company, has launched its 3G services in North India starting with the heritage city of Jaipur. Mr. Atul Bindal, President – Mobile Services, Bharti airtel announced this by making the first airtel 3G call in the state to HRH Princess Diya Kumari of Jaipur. Following this, airtel 3G services will be rolled out across all major cities in Rajasthan in weeks to come. Today, airtel also welcomed the new era of Mobile TV in India by bringing popular vernacular television channels and shows onto the mobile platform via airtel 3G services.
A wide range of LIVE and on-demand TV channels as well as shows are now available on airtel 3G Mobile TV at an affordable price of Rs. 40 for 20 minutes per week. Aircel 3G finally launched in Chennai

Aircel, which made its strong presence in the year 2010 with an impressive pan India network rollout, continues its growth by announcing the much awaited launch of its 3G services in India starting from Chennai. Idea Cellular ready to Launch 3G Services Next Month

Idea Cellular, the pan India telecom operator is now ready to launch its 3G services in India. The Aditya Birla group company may launch 3G services by next month across the country . The company has won 3G spectrum in 11 circles for approximately Rs 5,768 crore. Tata Docomo, Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel are the major private operators who already launched their 3G services in India.
Rajat Mukarji, chief corporate affairs officer, Idea Cellular said “We are looking at launching 3G services next month. We are still working out on details.”
Most of the 3G users are disappointed by high 3G tariff plans of existing 3G operators and now there will be a hope on Idea cellular for better and cheaper 3G plans.
