Ozonetel Systems launches Voice Buzz applications for Facebook. This application will allow user to update their Facebook status through their landline or mobile number.
As, we know such type of services are already available in India. However, this application is going to be more useful than other voice update service providers like Aircel, Ibibo etc.
To getting started with this application, user need to first register on Voice Buzz, by providing their phone number, that is to be used to post updates to their Facebook wall and some permissions, which will access basic profile information.
Aircel is already providing this type of services to their customers via a premium number 51555, but Voice buzz will use basic landline number 040-30512834 to process all relevant queries. (more…)
Aircel to launch 3G services before World Cup

Mobile Service Provider, Aircel is planning to launch its 3G services in India before the start of World Cup. World Cup is scheduled to begin on February 19. Aircel chief operating officer Gurudeep Singh said on Thursday.
Aircel is aiming to launch its 3G services across in all 13 circles. Aircel also has Broadband Wireless Internet (BWI) license for 8 circles. Aircel is still evaluating which technology to use for offering there services, WiMax or LTE.
“We are poised for a data usage explosion in this country, as broadband can only reach the masses with wireless,” he said. He admitted however, that 3G set ownership among customers were still in the low single digit percentage. (more…)
Aircel Introduces Voice Updates for Facebook

Aircel, one of the leading telecom service provider in India, has introduces an innovative way to connect with your friends, family and colleagues on Facebook called Facebook Voice Updates.
This technology does not need a mobile internet connection to set Facebook status. To set or to change your Facebook status, all you need to do is dial a short code to record your voice message and then post it as your status on Facebook. Interestingly, your friend will receive an SMS about your new status, to which then can reply back with a voice message.

Blyk on Aircel, A Youth focused Mobile Service in India

Aircel, a leading telecom player with Pan-India operations has partnered with Blyk, a UK based organization to launch “Blyk on Aircel”, India’s first Interactive, Youth focused Mobile Service Anytime Anywhere. With this service youths can procure free talk time, GPRS packs and more, if they agrees to receive adverts on their mobile phones.
Blyk on Aircel users will be sent content by way of messages, both SMS and MMS, across categories i.e. Entertainment, Sports, Lifestyle comprising travel, fashion, wellness, gadgets etc. and Other activities such as city specific events, dating & relationships tips, Comics and careers advice.
As users respond to the content and indicate their preferences, after a period of 6-8 weeks, they are then sent content from their areas of interest and finally that is tailored to their individual preferences which further helps in relevant interaction with the Youth and active brand engagements.
