Opera Software and MTS, the mobile telephony services brand of SSTL, have signed an agreement that would enable MTS customers to download Opera Mini directly on a range of mobile phone models from leading handset manufacturers such as Samsung, ZTE, Haier, Huawei, Micromax and Hisense by browsing through MY MTS Zone on their handsets. The access path being MY MTS > Mobile Shop > Opera Mini Browser

Additionally customer will also get data usage advantage of 1500 MB, all for just `2999/-. The initiative is being rolled out in all 84 towns under the MBlaze network across India.
With festive season round the corner, Speed Ka Double Dose has been specially designed to provide huge savings to the customers. On purchase of MBlaze, customer to get a pair of Reebok shoes worth `3499/- and data usage of 1500 MB worth `1188/-. MTS expands service in Goa and Konkan of Maharashtra

MTS, The mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (SSTL) has announced the launch of its services in the State of Goa and the Konkan region of Maharashtra. With this announcement, MTS now provider of both voice and data services in Maharashtra and Goa states. Earlier in January 2010, MTS introduced high speed data service, MBlaze in state of Goa.
At the launch event, MTS announced a special offer of 1 paisa for 2 seconds for all local calls in Mumbai, Maharashtra & Goa and MTS to MTS local calls at 1 paisa for 4 seconds. Also MTS subscribers can connect between MTS to MTS network at just one paisa for four seconds with lifetime validity.

MTS TV on MBlaze: 60 Live and Video On Demand channels

MTS, the mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd., in association with Apalya Technologies has launched the MTS TV for MBlaze customers. All MBlaze subscribers can now access more than 60 Live and Video On Demand (VOD) channels from news, entertainment, sports, kids, movies and regional language category that too without any subscription charges, except the standard data access charges as per the user’s data plan.
The customer just needs to download free MTS TV application from the MTS website and switch to selection of the favorite channel for viewing. The service uses High Speed Broadband platform and is available in all 57 cities of MBlaze presence. At present 60 channels are available and very soon other on demand channels and Live Cricket updates will be available on MTS TV. The service is also available on roaming with standard data roaming charges in all cities of MBlaze presence. (more…)
