Uninor launches Indias best GSM mobile tariff in Karnataka

Uninor’s new concept of Dynamic Pricing will now deliver India’s best mobile tariffs with upto 60% discounts on a per second billing also. This discount is not just applicable on local but STD calls too for calls made to any operator. The earlier Dynamic Pricing plan with per-minute billing will continue to be available in the market. With Uninor’s Dynamic Pricing plan now, a customer could enjoy an effective tariff as low as 0.40 paisa per second simply by crossing a street.
This plan is available on a recharge tariff of Rs. 26 with a validity of 3 months. The plan will be available at 11 exclusive Uninor stores and over 29000 other shops across Karnataka. It can be activated by simply walking up to the nearest a retail shop.

Uninor today announced the simultaneous launch of its Global GSM service in the 5 telecom circles of “Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa, Gujarat, Kolkata and West Bengal”. With this launch, Uninor’s services are now available in 13 telecom circles in India covering the states of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat.Today’s launch takes Uninor’s population footprint to over 900 million pan-India and also marks its debut in the high potential metro telecom circles of the country.
The service was launched in all 5 circles with the radical new concept of “Dynamic Pricing” (DP). Branded as ‘24X7 Badalta Discount Plan’, DP will offer call discounts that will change from 5% to 60% with location and with time – with each cell phone tower broadcasting a different discount. At the same location, the discount will change every hour. In cities like Mumbai and Kolkata, with daily commute times of as much as 4 hours, this could mean hundreds of varying discount opportunities every day with a better discount only a station away.
Launching with massive distribution:
On launch day, Uninor connections in these 5 circles will be available at over 85,000 points of sale through 439 distributors and at 81 exclusive shops in the five new circles. This is the largest ever launch distribution in these cities and states achieved by any GSM operator in India.

Uninor Dynamic pricing now in UP East, UP West and Bihar

Uninor , the first mobile operator in India to launch the concept of Dynamic pricing has extended the unique concept to UP East, UP West and Bihar. Within a few weeks of debuting the exciting new concept of “Dynamic pricing“ in the three telecom circles of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Uninor has now launched the ‘24X7 Badalta Discount Plan (DP)’ in the states of Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand .
The plan will offer uninor subscribers of UP East, UP West and Bihar changing discounts on their calls based on traffic on the network. The discounts will change with location and with time, with each cellphone tower broadcasting a different discount. At the same location, the discount will change on an hourly basis. By putting customers in control of costs, with 24X7 changing discount rates, this could very well change the tariff structure in Indian telecom.
Under the ‘24X7 Badalta Discount Plan (DP)’, customers will be able to avail a discount on their calls that ranges from 5% to as much as 60%, depending on their location and time at which they call – so simply by crossing a street. This discount will be applicable on a standard base call rate of 50 paisa per minute for any local call, Uninor-to-Uninor or Uninor-to-any other operator. This means a 1-minute local call could cost as low as 20 paisa and never more than 50 paisa. More >
Uninor Real Customer Real Value rewards across Andhra Pradesh

Uninor, one of the youngest Telecom operator has organized a ‘Real Customer Real Value’ program which is been started from today i.e. May 6 to May 13 to reward retailers who have gained high usage customers over the past 3 months. This program is scheduled to take place every 90 days across 20 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
