Vodafone Karnataka Unlimited GPRS browsing in 95 rs
4Vodafone Essar, one of India’s leading cellular services providers, has launched an Affordable and competitive Unlimited GPRS Browsing service for its prepaid customers in Karnataka. At Cost of only Rs 95 a month, customers can now browse the internet anytime, anywhere, on their mobile phone as many number of times at their own convenience. Customers can also avail of a 3 day unlimited GPRS offer at Rs 16.
To activate Unlimited GPRS, prepaid customers need to simply do an e-top with Rs 95 or Rs 16 or sms ACT GPRS to 144 (toll-free). Customers can also call 121 (toll-free) from their Vodafone mobile phones for more details.

Vodafone Karnataka tops TRAI Quality of Service report

In the latest Quality of Service (QoS) Report, for the quarter ending September 2009, released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Vodafone achieved the highest accessibility rate of 99.03pc , one of the low call drop rates of 0.98pc and a 98.28pc rate of calls with good voice quality and a 100pc resolution of billing and charging.
K Sankara Narayanan, CEO Vodafone Essar South Limited said, “In the current dynamic and competitive scenario, the success and survival of an operator hinges on the quality of service (QoS) it provides . This is indeed a proud moment for us all having topped the QoS for the 2nd consecutive quarter on almost all parameters among other GSM service providers in Karnataka state.”
QoS Survey is part of the Indian Telecom Services Performance Indicators (TSPI) report that is released by TRAI every quarter.
