MO-Call brings 3G and Wi-Fi Calling to the iPhone 4Morodo Limited’s popular international calling application, MO-Call, has been upgraded to support Apple’s iPhone 4 and iPhones running the new iOS 4 operating system. The updated application lets customers make cheap calls over Wi-Fi or through a 3G connection as part of their data package. In addition to the VoIP calling feature, users of MO-Call can also make cheap internet calls on lower bandwidth connections via the callback feature. The app also comes with low cost International text messaging.

The MO-Call iPhone Voip dialer can be downloaded direct from iTunes. New users get free minutes to try the application out. When the free trial is over, top-ups can be made from the MO-Call website or from the app itself. (more…)

Viper Networks, a USA-based voice over internet protocol (VoIP) and internet telephony applications provider, has received final approval from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), to commence operations and sales for its joint venture in India. As part of the JV, Viper Networks owns the exclusive rights that allow the company to offer a full spectrum of national and international telecom services, including VoIP and calling cards. The company will target the Indian expatriate community and Indian tourists outside India. Viper had formed the JV with Cirilium India Pvt Ltd in October 2009, which was pending approval until now. This final approval was based upon successful testing and recent network expansion of an additional $250,000 in hardware by the company.

Farid Shouekani, president of Viper Networks, Inc, said in a statement, ” Our hard work for the last year is finally paying off, putting us in a position to see a significant return on our investment. Not only does this approval initiate sales in Singapore, but also paves the way for the launch of sales and operations for all routes we have announced over the last 12 months. We look forward to announcing more news in the very near term.”
